Have you ever heard of or joined a hackathon? Are you under the age of 18 and curious to see how far you can take your unique set of skills and interests to solve real-world problems?

Indus Space annually hosts a youth friendly edition of the annual NASA Space Apps Challenge in the Greater Toronto Area.

To help youth who have never worked on a hackathon before, we host this independently organized introductory self-paced course to help youth under 18 explore the design thinking process and prepare themselves to understand the basics of a hackathon. This course gives you access to template worksheets and tips from hackathon mentors. 

Register and complete the Blast Off To HackerSpace workshop series so you can prepare ahead of any hackathon (beyond the technological skills). We want to give everybody an opportunity to explore what it takes to tackle a challenge in a hackathon – all about STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts and math) and space!
