Space Exploration 101 Junior Series

This introductory series is perfect for the youngest of space explorers, Juniors between Grades 1-4. Every month we introduce a distinct space theme, cover some key basic information and then participants complete a hands-on activity which they take back home to share with the family.

2026 is a very exciting moment for Canadian Space Sector. Our very own astronaut Jeremy Hansen will orbit the Moon alongside 3 NASA Astronauts as part of the Artemis II mission. The launch is slated between February-April. We will focus our early sessions (Jan-Feb) to explore all aspects of moon exploration and celebrate this historic moment.

The schedule the remainder of winter/spring will cover themes like star formation, blackholes, solar system, humans in space, Engineering, and much more.

This series will run 60 minutes on Thursdays between 4:30-6PM (no sessions on long weekend holidays or March break). Try one session or register for 4 sessions at a time all season long. Register here.
