Blast Off To HackerSpace

Have you ever heard of or joined a hackathon? Are you under the age of 18 and curious to see how far you can take your unique set of skills and interests to solve real-world problems?
Indus Space is hosting a virtual youth version of the 2021 NASA Space Apps Challenge Youth Edition in the Greater Toronto Area for the second year!
Register for the Blast Off To HackerSpace workshop series so you can prepare ahead of the main Space Apps Challenge. We want to give everybody an opportunity to explore what it takes to tackle a challenge in a hackathon – all about STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts and math).
Event facilitation will occur through Zoom and Discord.
Fill out our survey to help us understand what your needs are as a hackathon participant.
The schedule will be shared with registrants shortly.
Note: Event times are in EDT.
Note for Parents/Guardians: An adult must be available to accompany youth if the participant is under the age of 12 on Discord.
Tech Requirements: Must have access to an internet browser, Zoom, Google Classroom (optional, but recommended).
